SWC details

for all of you lucky kids who are coming to

Spirit West Coast tomorrow, here are the details...

1. tickets are free, food is not. we're recommending about $20 for food which should be more than enough. bring more if you want to get souviners (yes, that is spelled wrong).

2. we are meeting in the church parking lot at 9AM to carpool (leaders will be driving).

3.bring: sunscreen, water bottle, comfortable shoes, jackets (it is supposed to rain!), money, camera, parent's phone #, cell phone if you have one, watch.

4. the plan is to drop everyone off at their homes between 10:30 and 11:15pm... make sure your parents know!

Julie, Emily, Molly, and Jason are packing their bags and heading east... to the Eastern Hemisphere that is. Sad, but true, the Porters spent their last Sunday (for 3 years) at CCPL today. When they return, Julie will be 14 (can you believe it?) and Emily will be one of our J.Highers! We will miss you all, but can't wait to see what's God's going to do with you in Japan.

but seriously... it's about time for another j.high game night at the romeka house. pizza, music, candy, soda and games will be on the menu. will cameron be doing another british impression? possibly. will liz be so badly beaten at clue she'll want to cry? maybe. will another ginormous basket of ghiradelli's chocolate be massacred by a group of candy crazed pre-teens? likely.

j.high winter camp!

well we made it to camp this year... and once we got up the mountain it was totally worth it!
calvary vista hosted winter camp at green valley lake. there was TONS of snow, and it was the first time some of our kiddos had ever seen it. we went innertubing, snowball fighting, and even got to hear a private concert from phil wickham! the most exciting part was to see how many kids made a decision for Christ, and how others faith was strengthened and matured! we hope you can come with us next year!
